Beautiful Batsford...

Yesterday on my day off we decided to visit Batsford Arboretum to catch some more of the incredible autumn colours this year. I've not been to the arboretum before so was blow away by the huge variety of trees there ( & the biggest beech tree I've ever seen!), the colours were truly amazing even on a dull day.  I'd definitely recommend a visit asap before more of the leaves drop - even then they look fab on the ground...I think I'd like to visit again during the spring to see the Japanese Cherries?
Batsford is open every day except Christmas Day, there's a great cafe too (very nice cake!) & you can take your dog onsite - don't forget your camera!

Really pretty little church too...St Mary's Batsford
