This exhibition features work by 8 contemporary textile artists who explore how stories are represented through their work. Using a wide range of materials, techniques and processes each artist creates unique pieces which on further inspection reveal their fascinating stories.
From life in the sixties to the women and children working in the cotton mills during the 1900’s and even Gorilla's visiting Birmingham City Centre – this work will fascinate and intrigue you!

A beautiful craft exhibition to begin the year, based on the theme of storytelling, folk and memories of childhood.
Featuring Anna Howarth's wonderful papercuts, Phiona Richards sculptures and jewellery made from the pages of old books, Laura Grain's wooden pendants and brooches and becky Adams embroidered books along with some new pieces produced specially for this exhibition.
There will also be framed work and wire sculptures by Julia Jowett, gorgeous ceramics by laura Pearcy (Boop Design) including little memory bottles and ceramic jewellery and beautiful vessels by Annabel Dee.
