Demos at COS

Today both Sue Brown & I gave demonstrations in 'the shed' at Cheltenham...I soldered & textured some metalwork sections which will develop into a long panel during the week (hopefully!).

Unfortunately my stock has been a little limited at this event as opening the new shop has taken a lot of my work plus the successful final weekend at The Fold/Malvern Spring Garden Show.  I'm sure with a few weeks of concentrated effort in my new studio I will be able to create more pieces!

If you missed us today don't worry there will be another opportunity next Sunday 16th June:
Metalwork 11am - 12pm (Love Bird wall pieces)
Enamelling 2pm - 3pm

It's been lovely to work in another artist's workspace, especially one so inspiring!

Prepared copper & brass sections ready for soldering...

The pieces produced this morning...

This afternoon it was Sue's turn & she gave a comprehensive demo of the enamelling techniques she uses in her work.
Safety first!

Sue checking the kiln temperature before firing...

A successful demonstration!
