Contemporary Craft Festival at Bovey Tracey

We've just about recovered from a very busy Cotemporary Craft Festival at Bovey Tracey over the weekend....We were trying to work out how long it has been since I last exhibited at the event & think it was 2010....

We had a really fabulous time getting to know other exhibitors especially those whose work we have long admired...we had some really great neighbours; Liz Cooksey, Christian Ryan & Suzanne Breakwell to name a few....(very tempting to make the odd purchase or two)

We were showing some new pieces at the show which seemed to generate a lot of interest especially the seaweed.

Lots of the individual leaves went home with visitors...

Love birds were popular...

Copper & brass texture pictures....

The Horse Chestnut & Wren pieces were the first to sell...that particular leaf does seem to be the most popular at the moment.

As the show was so busy it was not always possible to leave the stand to look around so we tried to get in early each morning for a quick visit to admire the other exhibitors work before opening....
Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

We now have a little breather before the next show as St Ives is starting to get busy for the summer visitors. We will be taking part in the Mawnan Craft Market (near Falmouth) for the first time this year
